Biography/Personal Statement
My studio has been at work helping students to meet their goals and "live their dreams" for over 7 years. My background includes performing for over 40 years and teaching for more than 15 years! I believe in teaching "classical method" to all students, and enjoy teaching a big variety of music which embraces country, bluegrass, European fiddle styles, and popular and sacred. Violin, viola, cello can all play ANY melody within their ranges. Music playing should be about self-expression and joy! Everyone can learn! to play, and learning music is fun!
Additional Information
I am a teacher of the Suzuki Method and I use it with all of my students. This method teaches very rapidly and uses praise rather than harsh criticism. I have seen all ages learn well with this literature. I also use traditional classical, etc. repetoire. There are many methods of teaching which I have experienced. I will individualize your lessons and use what will help the student the most.
